violet june | birth

A wildly fast labor + delivery and I made it there about 30 minutes before sweet Violet June was brought into the world! She was born in the birthing pool set up in Rebecca and Matt's living room... and their two youngest kids were there to witness their baby sister being born! The best news of all?! Per Kora's previous request, her sister WAS born on her 5th birthday. :) Each birth is a crazy and unique experience, whether it involves waiting for hours or going a *few* miles over the speed limit to get there in time. I love being able to tell the story through photos and video and I love thinking about the kids that will get to watch their own birth video for years to come... the day their siblings met them for the first time, their momma heard that first cry or their dad held them just moments after they were born. Best best job!
