I walked into their home and was greeted with facts about all kinds of wildflowers, soon followed by "I can't wait to show you my garden!" and "do you want to see my room?!" Felt like we were just old friends by the end of my time with the Kauffman family... Isla's excitement for just about everything in life is contagious (along with her PERFECT SMILE) and Miles told me allll about his loose teeth and the book his aunt made especially for him from Africa. Seeing how much Miles and Isla loved making their little brother Hunter laugh, watching after him and including him in their dinner table conversations was the sweetest thing.

This night felt like the epitome of summer and it made me so happy.
