their story is one of redemption and so much hope, and it was such a joy to be a small part of the day their baby girl, Mikel Robin, was born. Karis and Adam are two people who embody not only the strength of the Lord, but His joy is in every aspect of who they are. I met them through mutual friends a couple years ago and have been following their journey as they experienced the heartbreak of losing their sweet baby boy last year. I have always admired Karis and Adam's openness in letting people walk through it all with them and every piece of their story points back to God's constant faithfulness. you can onlyyyy imagine the joy and celebration that filled the room as they introduced their daughter to their families... It was one of those days that I felt so lucky to be a part of and the love this family has for each other is a beautiful thing. Mikel Robin Derus, hope you're ready to be the center of attention. :)
