the hess family | home

i met the hess family close to a year ago when i filmed the birth of their son Barron... so yeahhh you can probably imagine my excitement when ali asked me to come film a video to help remember the last night they would spend in their home. one of my favorite things about in-home sessions is that it’s never anything fancy or thought out or *super* planned... but it’s real and authentic and filled with joy and gives new perspective to daily life. and in this case, my hope is that it allows them to hold on and remember such a special season of living in this place they called home. a new job is taking their family of six to california and i’m convinced it will be the best adventure yet (and biggest party when they return to PA righttttt?!)
