I met Melissa and Dave (and Cora!) in the hospital when they welcomed Nolan to their family back in March. Now, eight months later they invited me to capture their family again... but this time in their home!! It ended up being a dreary day (seems to be a theme the last few weeks) so we spent the cozy morning inside eating pancakes, dancing to Cora's favorite songs, and even had a chance to play outside during a break in the rain! Melissa is also a photographer (and so talented!) and loves photographing her kids and family on a regular basis through their daily life. She brought out her camera for a few photos outside and it just means so much that she wanted me to come help them remember their lives in a new way through video!
